    Good Packaging Award Showcase - Each Tokyo Pack featrues a exhibition area where the Japan Packaging Institute's 'Good Packaging Award" winners - usually more than 50 individual winners - are displayed. The equivalent of PackStar or Ameristar these National awards have been judged to be the best of the best of Japanese packaging by a jury of its' peers. Our editors will interview the judges and discuss the key motivations behind the decisions. This will provide usefull insight into the thought process behing Japanese packaging design and marketing.

Each Tokyo Pack the organisers Japan Packaging Institute selects a central theme, the '08 theme is "Packaging to Create Good Environment and Clean Earth" (eg: Sustainability).

This 120pp supplementary report, examines in detail the legislation, consumer requirements, and technological solutions which have placed the Japanese packaging supply chain at the forefront of packaging sustainability.
