THAILAND - Japanese company Toyo Jidoki Co Ltd, a provider of measuring, filling and packaging systems, is exhibiting its retorted food and liquid packaging machinery through its agent Senta Pack Machinery & Services Co Ltd at Propak Asia 2007, held in BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, from 13 – 16 June.

Manufactured in Japan, the TT-8CR is ideal for shelf-stable ready meals, sauces and liquid detergent. With the ability to handle pouches between the sizes of W/80-220 and L/100-300, the machine can process up to 45 pouches in a minute.

According to Hiroshi Sakaue, Manager, International Business Department, Toyo Jidoki, the TT-8CR has been well-received in Thailand since Senta Pack started distributing the machine in the country in 1990.sentaa.jpg

He said, “More than 40 units have been sold in Thailand to domestic companies and major Japanese companies with local manufacturing facilities. Most of our customers are in the food, household and pet food industries, and they have been very happy with the efficiency and quality of the retorted pouches churned out by the TT-8CR.

“Japanese machinery, I think, do well in Thailand because we are known for our quality, and we do live up to that.”

Priding itself for developing the world’s first rotary packaging machines, Tokyo Jidoki aims to continue providing high-quality products with environmentally-friendly technologies. Visit Senta Pack’s stand at No. K1 for a demonstration of Toyo Jidoki’s pouch packaging machinery and the other Japanese products represented.
