USA - The US printing industry's revenue for the year 2006 was approximately $2,720,000,000. The gross profit was 30.32% at $824,704,000. There were 2,185 establishments in this industry that year. Thus, average contribution (or revenue) per establishment annually was $1,243,000, according to a report on the health of the US industry of "Other Commercial Printing Industry’ In The U.S. and Its Foreign Trade (1996-2008)" by Research and Markets
