THAILAND –
Creative Machinery showcases Chinese-made machines at Pack Print, International 2007, in Bangkok, Thailand.

At Pack Print International 2007, held in Bangkok from 26 – 29 April, Creative

Machinery Corporation Limited (CMC), supplier of printing-related machines, accessories and parts for the printing industry (press and post-press), featured some of its products, among them a unique screen printing press and an extremely user friendly cutting machine.

Jinbao Screen Printing Machinery

The screen press on display at the CMC stand is a China-made one with an additional twist. Distributed on behalf of Chinese company Jinbao Screen Printing Machinery Co. Ltd, the screen press features an oven which not only cures the UV ink, but also creates texture on the printed material. A first in the Thai market, the oven has several UV lamps set at different temperatures which affect the speed and manner in which the ink dries, generating the textured effect.

Huayue Packing Machinery

Also on the Creation stand is another a first for Thailand; a diecutter from Chinese equipment supplier, Huayue Packing Machinery Co Ltd.

Working in collaboration with Creation, the Chinese company developed a Thai language program to operate the cutter.

“With the influx of Chinese machines into the Thai market it is important for CMC to help develop a operation program which Thai operators can actually read,” said Mr Chanin Aiyawongse, marketing executive of Creation Machinery Corporation.

According to Mr Aiyawongse, about 60% of all machines distributed by the company are from China. “Chinese printing and packaging equipment manufacturers have dramatically improved the quality of their machines in recent years. While the incorporation of various parts and components imported to China from Japan and Europe has added to their efficiency.

“Of course the lower cost of Chinese equipment compared to Western-made machines makes them more attractive to the Thai market”.

Mr Aiyawongse said, “Unlike in the past, the Thai market is now quite open to Chinese-made machines, and we at CMC believe that the quality of the machines will improve even further.

“We anticipate greater demand for such machines over the next few years.”

Creative Machinery Corporation Limited (CMC), established in December 2003 to take over the sales of printing and finishing equipment from Creation Group Co., distributes printing-related machines, accessories and parts for the printing industry (press and post-press) such as automatic diecutters, UV roller coating machines, and label printing machines from China, Japan, Europe and America to the Thai market.
