INDIA - Wintek Flexo Prints of India installed an 8-color Gallus EM 280 in its Bangalore plant to cope with demands from the liquor, pharmaceutical and other FMCG industries.
Wintek Flexo Prints decided to invest in the Gallus EM 280 instead of other makes because the Gallus EM 280 has a quick-change platform and rapid ink change system which enables shorter make-ready times for each print job. The reliability of Heidelberg technical and service support was also one of the important reasons that spearheaded the company's decision to buy the EM 280 from Gallus. The EM 280 can be easily extended from a pure flexo press to a combination printing press. This attracted Wintek Flexo Prints to purchased it due to their intention to upgrade the Gallus EM 280 with Rotary Screen and Hot Foil Stamping System in the future. With Gallus unique quick change platforms, flexo, screen and hot foil stamping units can be easily interchanged at any position to create a customised configuration. This add-on feature of the EM 280 maximises the value of their initial investment. Wintek Flexo Prints was established in 1996. Although a young company, it is currently a leading player in the label Industry in the Indian continent. Gallus is a 30% owned company, by Heidelberg. Heidelberg provides technical and sales support services to Gallus customers in India. The two companies work hand-in-hand in the fields of technology, research and development to raise the level of innovation and speed in which new products are introduced. The partnership allows coordination of logistics, procurement and quality management at a global level, which gives tangible results to our customers; who are professional printers and specialists in the label market.
