The present investment in a complete MDC copper plating line, additional GRAVOSTAR HS based engraving capacity with pre-press software and a POLISHSTAR adds to the customer’s existing Daetwyler equipment.

Delivery of the latest order is scheduled for September with a production start target of December 2007. Installation will be done at the customer’s new plant in Hanoi from where the market in northern Vietnam will be served.

The cylinder service house Cong Ty Co Phan Hoang Hac began to use Daetwyler equipment in 2002, changing from the previously employed chemical etching process to electromechanical engraving.

This included a first investment into GRAVOSTAR HS engraving equipment, prepress software, a POLISHSTAR for ideal cylinder surface preparation and a DIGILAS laser system, which is the only laser flexo plate exposure system in the country.

Key to making the latest investment was Cong Ty Co Phan Hoang Hac’s satisfaction with its existing MDC equipment, which provides superior engraving quality and output.
