An extreme contrast: in the midst of luxuriant green banana plantations only about two hours drive from Bangkok lies the new factory of Prepac (Thailand) Co. Ltd. who recently installed a Novoflex, the C.I. flexo press featuring direct drive technology from the German machine manufacturer Windmöller & Hölscher  - the first press of this kind in Asia.

Through this courageous decision in favour of an absolute high tech machine, Prepac has taken the lead in packaging printing in Thailand and presented themselves as reliable partner of quality-conscious multinational producers of consumer goods. 

The Klongsan/Bangkok based firm Prepac (Thailand) Co. Ltd. active in the field of flexible packagings (extrusion, flexo printing, conversion) employs about 100 people. Milk packages and bread bags, but also packagings for hygiene products form the major part of their production. The main reason for their decision to invest in a high quality flexo press was the wish to print demanding fine halftone work for diaper packagings.

For Windmöller & Hölscher the installation of the Novoflex at Prepac (Thailand) Co. Ltd. also marks a milestone:  it is the first high quality flexo press the German machine manufacturer sold to a customer in Thailand.
