Vietnam - Do Thanh Plastics Company in HCMC has spent over USS6 50.000 to import a PET bottle production line and a pressing machine to produce spare parts for export, and to modernize equipment and technology in the first three months of 1997.

 The company aims to increase production of industrial plastic goods from 76% in 1996 to 80%-85% this year. The company plans to produce 1,400 tons of products this year.

The company is now implementing contracts for producing plastic cases for Pepsi, plastic packaging and others.
