AVT recently received multiple orders from China's largest cigarette printer, Shenzhen Jinjia

These orders came following a successful implementation of the AVT’s PrintVision/Argus platform at Jinjia.

The PrintVision/Argus, a unique 100% quality assurance and process control solution, is targeted to answer the most demanding quality requirements of high-end packaging applications such as cigarette, food and cosmetic. It visually inspects all kinds of printed materials, including folding carton, transparent and highly reflective material and automatically detects both process & random defects during wide web printing operation.

Another product range ordered by Jinjia, the PrintVision/Helios solution is a 100% automatic inspection solution dedicated for narrow - mid web printing applications, including label and folding carton. The PrintVision/Helios can be mounted on-press for in-line inspection, or on a rewinder for 100% quality assurance before shipment to customers.

PrintVision/Orion is a pioneering solution for single package Automatic Inspection targeted to provide 100% quality assurance and automatic sorting of single packages before shipment to customers. After the material is die-cutted, the single parts can be inspected on a dedicated conveyer and sorted to good or defective parts, before folding & gluing processes or before shipment to customer. The PrintVision/Orion implementation at Jinjia will be one of the first installations worldwide.

Jinjia is the largest cigarette packaging printer in China, where it develops, designs, manufactures and markets packaging for high-class cigarette, medicine and cosmetic products. With five factories on the mainland, the company uses rotogravure and offset methods to produce some of the most colorful and complicated designs and decorations seen on the market.

Jinjia has designed and produced more than 100 famous tobacco labels and more than 50 cigarette brands, and prints more than 30 million cigarette packages a day.
