MEXICO - Two China-made narrow-web, flexographic printing presses have been exported to Grupo Etimex S.A. de C.V. in Monterrey, Mexico. The presses were manufactured by US-based J&H Printing Solutions, Inc at their partners’ plant in China which occupies over 120,000 square feet of production space and employs over 200 engineers and technicians. The Mexican company purchased the two 13-in JH1300 flexo presses, one an 8-color press capable of printing on thin-gauge films (down to 18 microns), the other a 6-color system specified for pressure-sensitive substrates. According to Jorge Martinez, Eitmex CEO, "The addition of the two JH 1300 presses gives us a new dimension of quality, versatility and productivity. We were very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the JH machines. The exceptional value that the machines represent led us to purchase, not only the one press we were planning on buying, but a second press as well. "We have a large base of American and European machines. After careful review of the price and quality relationship of the J&H machines relative to the American and European machines, the decision to form this new partnership with J&H became obvious and clear." Mat Jones, president of J&H Printing Solutions, added, "We're very excited to have our first installation in Mexico. Etimex has an exceptional reputation and is one of the largest and most respected narrow-web flexo producers in Mexico." J&H supplies flexo presses and other converting equipment manufactured in China. |
