THAILAND - Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Bangkok-based Sutthiphong Engineering Co Ltd is exhibiting its range of machines for steel, aluminum and plastic cans sealed with aluminum tops at Propak Asia 2007, held in BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, from 13 – 16 June.

One of the machines Thai company Sutthiphong Engineering Co Ltd is exhibiting at Propak Asia 2007 is the Canco 06 automatic closing machine for precision can seaming at high speeds.

Canco 06, a rebuilt single-head automatic seaming machine, can seam cans at speeds of up to 50 cans per minute using a maximum of four seaming rolls during operation. The machine first produces steam flow at the cap deliverer before automatically delivering caps through its cap delivery system made of rustproof brass. As the can pathway and can holder are also made of brass, the machine can withstand long runs without any problems.

Canco 06 has a motor horsepower of up to 3 HP and can handle cans of up to a maximum of 135mm in height and No. 404 in diameter. Developed by Sutthiphong’s team of engineers, Canco 06 can also be modified and maintained easily.

Sutthiphong Engineering Co Ltd is an ISO9002 certified company which supplies can seamers, can and end making tooling, food processing equipment, tuna filling machines, machinery spare parts, seaming rolls and seaming chucks to the canning and can-making industry.
