THAILAND - Sacmi Imola Closures, a producer of machines and plants for the production of closure systems for the beverage industry meant for compression technology, are exhibiting a compression press for plastic caps at Propak Asia.

Equipment supplier Sacmi Imola Closures is exhibiting the CCM48 - 48 punches compression press for the production of plastic caps – at Propak Asia 2007, held in BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, from 13 – 16 June.

The CCM48 embodies some technical solutions increasing significantly in the manufacturing process, such as production capacity and process stability.

The machine can produce caps with diameters of up to 33 mm at a maximum rate of 1200 caps/minute. This is a record cycle time of 2,4 seconds, an output rate inconceivable a few years ago.

Sacmi Group will also be presenting the latest system releases for the production of PET preforms, labelling and filling.
