According to the company, POF Pacific is the first to manufacture and introduce shrink film into the Thai market, and is the only producer of Bawo polyolefin shrink film in the country. Some years ago, it became an agent for a Taiwanese equipment manufacturer’s automatic label inserting machine. Supichsha Sakunapaiboon, Sales and Marketing Manager, POF Pacific, told PackWebasia.com, “We have been producing shrink films and labels in Thailand for over 30 years now and wanted to offer a one-stop solution for our customers. We know what’s best for our film and so looked for a machine most suitable for insertion. “This Taiwanese brand machine is very well-known in Taiwan, China and Vietnam and is also in use by companies such as Unilever, Coca-Cola and Tesco Lotus. The machine performs very well and that’s why we chose to market it with our film and labels.” With a production speed of about 500 bottles per minute, the automatic label inserting machine can work with bottles of diameters between 25 – 130mm. It can insert labels of length 25 – 300mm and thickness 0.035 – 0.08mm. Apart from its office in Samutprakan, POF Pacific also has a factory in Bangbuang with an annual film and label production capacity of 800 tons. The Thai company supplies shrink film – Bawo polyolefin shrink film, PVC label, PET shrink label – and various packaging equipment such as horizontal wrapping machines, automatic L-seal machines, shrink tunnels and automatic label inserting machines. |
